ADT (Admission, Discharge & Transfer)
HOSP
IT's ADT module is an integrated patient
management system that runs the entire patient
care workflow, from the registration of patient
information in the Patient Master Index (PMI)
to bed tracking and discharge. The system is fully
integrated with HOSP IT's Clinic
and Orders systems and manages the necessary administration
procedures for both inpatient and outpatient visits
including allocating physicians, applying policies,
and assigning beds. A comprehensive reporting
tool is also provided, delivering accurate occupancy
statistics and quality information regarding admissions,
transfers and discharges.
Master
Patient Index includes a unique patient ID and
a single patient index.
Advanced patient search criteria includes first,
middle and last names, gender, date of birth,
last visit, national ID or hospital identification
number.
Customizable bar-coded patient forms include patient
info and picture.
Barcode technology enables automatic attachment
of scanned documents to the appropriate patient
record.
Previous visit information available natively
from RADT via the HOSP IT visit
browser function.
System-wide patient indicators are visible throughout
the entire system.
Automated SMS alerts for managers and physicians.
Intuitive
admission screen allows users to complete all
admissions processes steps quickly and easily
including allocating beds, applying policies,
capturing diagnoses and assigning physicians to
patients.
Room
and bed management integration with EMR and Orders
module provides real time information regarding
change requests and bed transfers while ensuring
that bed lists census and patient accounts are
updated.
Point of Care updating of charge types, room types,
bed lists and allocations.
Advanced bed reservation facilitates hospital
occupancy forecasting.
Automatic charging of bed or discharge conditions
are included. Centrally-maintained policies, contract
terms with third party payors and packages, allow
easy selection and assignment of each patient's
policy details on each hospital visit.
